Colonization and the colours of HIM Selassia This is a short 2min video with subtitle in English about an artwork in which Ife’ka Terry uses colours, symbols and the image of His Majesty Emperor Haile Selassie to express his opinion about the above topic. In the artist own word, he makes more emphasis on western influences on modern-contemporary African believes. The video also contain a quote (citation) from the mouth of Haile Selassie (Ethiopia happens to be the only African country that was never colonized). Enjoy the viewing. |
